As soon as I have a couple of days free I'll see about doing it.

From The Bromley Times (H.G. Wells' birthpalce)

Bromley goes to Hollywood
27 June 2005

DUBBED the 'man who invented tomorrow,' HG Wells is regarded a pioneer of science fiction. His mammoth collection of works during his lifetime predicted automobiles, computers, television and even the Atomic bomb. An adaptation of his classic The War of the Worlds was so convincing it sent some parts of America into a state of panic when it was broadcast on the radio in the 1930s, 40 years after it was first published. Now, that same classic has been made into a multi-million Hollywood blockbuster. So what is it about this Bromley-born man that could make him peek into the future? Read our fascinating two-page special on H G Wells in this week's Bromley Times.

Article is scheduled to run on Wednesday June 29, 2005
