Casting
of the chair
Much of the master was sculpted in Sculpy. The upholstery tacks were made by submerging a ball link chain into the Sculpy so that each ball was partially revealed. This gave Randy a nice even spacing of the 'tacks'. |

The
prism assemblies
These parts were cast in a clear urethane resin. Clear urethane requires special molds and take up to 20 hours before you can demold the parts. |
