As part of my research I've been looking for a copy of Early Writings in Science and Science Fiction, by H.G. Wells (edited by Robert M. Philmus and David Y. Huges), University of California Press, 1975. However I have not been able to track one down via the net so far. Could you put out a call to our fellow Wellsians to see if there is a copy out there somewhere. Here in Puerto Rico, part of what I call the "pius South"and in a sense an extension of the U.S. southern "Bible-belt", it's very difficult to find Wells's works, other than the "scientific" romances.
