Strictly speaking, there are no caps over the nuts on the real Machine. However, the bolts are cut off just about the edge of the nuts. So I suspect what you mean is that the bolts stick out markedly over the nuts. Is that so ? |

Posted At 20:56:58 06/09/2003 Yes, the bolts stickup 3/16" over top of nut. In addition, as I have noticed in some buildups, the nuts are not painted. They are certainly obvious when looking at the model. Painting them would at least help in blending them into the background, so to speak. |
