This morning about 6:45, while I was still in bed asleep, Eagle-Eye Mary came running into the room yelling Get up! Get up! there's a short on Turner showing the Berninghaus chair! Bleary eyed I manage to reach the livingroom and find TCM is showing a short from "The Passing Parade" series entitled "The Great American Mug". The entire short takes place inside a turn of the century barber shop with, not one, not two but all three of the M.G.M. Berninghaus chairs!!! Struggleing to find a tape I finally get one in to catch the last few minutes. What I did miss was: A full shot of the chair, front on and it revolving a full 360 degress by itself. Did anyone else happen to see and tape this? |
