I am so happy to see that Don has finally found his Berninghaus Barber Chair. It is really a beautiful piece of Victoriana. If I had some hair on my head, I would just love to sit in that chair for a trim. Now that he has his chair, and as much as I hate to see that chair altered from it original specs...I am sure that Don is quietly making plans to embark on a quest to build the ultimate 1:1 scale Pal Time Machine replica. Is this wishful thinking Don? I was just wondering if you are going to document on video your entire building process for us and maybe / hopefully make it available to us enthusiasts? If I was living on the west coast, I would be at Don's doorstep every weekend with camcorder in hand. Good thing I'm on the East coast...eh Don?

I am also happy that Don's quest is finally over. It is a magnificent example of the beautiful Berninghaus barber chair!!!

Like Carl, I would also like to know if Don intends documenting the construction of his very own Full Size Pal Time Machine (in great detail of course), as it would be GREATLY appreciated by all Enthusiast!!!

Love Carl's suggestion for a video of the construction!!! Are you considering that Don???

As some of you know, my father passed away in 1999 and I've been busy going through his house and deciding what to keep and what to do away with. About two weeks ago someone decided to help by breaking into the house and stealing a bunch of stuff. Fortunately the neighbor saw the guy and gave the license plate number to the police. The guy is in jail and I'm getting some of the stuff back but some of the stuff which is not coming back was of sentimental value. It's been hard dealing with everything without this on top of it all.

Anyway, once I get the house fixed up and sold I'll have the time to spend on building a full size machine for myself. Yes. I'll be taking photos of the entire process and I'll need to get a new camcorder as mine has ceased to work due to programed obsolescence. I'm thinking of having a webcam as well but haven't looked into this yet.
