Hello Ady... glad to see that someone is still out there in the void... Ahhh...the Masterpiece model...Yes, the price is a bit steep for the motor and light kit...more than anyone anticipated, I believe. Still, to animate the model, it appears that the owners of the kit ( like myself)will have to settle for the way things are. I fully expect that the kit (given that 'ritzy' price tag) will turn this model into the quintesential Time Machine replica, especially since Chris Perrotta, himself, helped in its creation! Though questionable in some of its component parts (the dish being an example), the model promises to be a first-class, handsome miniature replica of the original prop design! And may I ask, do you have any pictures of your progress on your 'scratch-built' version? I would love to see some of your work! |
