  First, the L-rods are test-fitted and adjusted. Once they fit perfectly, they are tagged so that during final assembly, they can easily be put where they belong.
   
The end of the coiled wires are then bent the same way the wires on the real prop are. Then each coiled wire is carefully stretched to the correct length.

The coiled wires are then test-fitted over the L-shaped rods and test-mounted to the electrode cones. The ends of the wires are adjusted to fit perfectly into the holes drilled to that effect at the sides of the cones.
